I have a regular routine of news outlets that I check out:
- KUT — the local NPR station.
- Austin American-Statesman — local pulp. I’m not a subscriber though.
- KXAN — local broadcast media
- New York Times — National news
- Washington Post — National news, but more DC focus.
- Ars Technica — More technical news.
- Texas Tribune — Texas political coverage.
I would read the Wall Street Journal, but their paywall is pretty tight and it is rather expensive. Starbucks has a relationship with them that allows free reading while in-store, so I would skim weekly.
